- No 1 mistake new writers make is selling their e-books online by themselves. I made this mistake sometime ago when i wrote my first e-book. Despite much money spent i must tell you; don't make the same mistake. What am i saying? Don't try selling your e-book by yourself unless you have so much money to go building online store, putting adverts and also if you have the experience with a made online reputation to go with it.
- People like buying books from an author they knew and believe in his/her works. This means you should build a reputation online; you sure need it. Start by giving out free samples or pages of your e-book to allow people see the quality of the e-book content. You can send your e-book for reviews to forums that allow it. This will give you the opportunity to have your work viewed and commented on..
